Free beta service
BookTrakdB is currently offered as a free beta service. Features, availability, supported limits and data handling may change as the service develops. We do not promise a particular service level, uninterrupted availability, or that every feature will remain available.
Your account and library
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your credentials secure, and activity carried out through your account. Your hosted library is private to your authenticated account. You remain responsible for the information, images and files you add, import, export or share.
Acceptable use
You must use BookTrakdB lawfully and must not attempt to access another person’s account or library; interfere with the service; upload malicious material; infringe another person’s rights; misuse automated access; or use the service in a way that could harm BookTrakdB, its users or providers.
Your content and exports
You retain responsibility for your catalogue information and uploaded images. You confirm that you have the right to upload and use them. BookTrakdB provides import and export tools for convenience, but you should keep copies of important data and check exported files before relying on them.
Changes, suspension and ending access
We may change, suspend or end part of the beta service where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, misuse prevention or service development. You may stop using the service and use available account-data deletion tools. We may retain information where required or permitted by law, as described in the final Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookTrakdB is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Any final limitation-of-liability wording is subject to legal review.
Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Subject to applicable law, the courts of Queensland and courts entitled to hear appeals from them will have exclusive jurisdiction. This clause is subject to legal review, including for users outside Australia.
